LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The mother accused of trying to kill her 12-year-old son by burning down their apartment has been indicted by a Fayette County grand jury.

41-year-old Lamonica Hill is charged with attempted murder and arson. The fire, set back in September, damaged Hill's apartment on Lima Drive. Lexington firefighters say Hill claimed she lit the fire while sleepwalking.

Investigators say she drugged her son and blocked his escape route. No one was hurt in the fire.

Hill's arraignment is scheduled for Thursday, December 27th.
