Mother of woman found dead on Lexington road hopes for answers

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The mother of a woman found dead along a rural Lexington road hopes someone will have answers to what happened.

A homeowner on Leeann Lane discovered the woman's body Thursday afternoon. Friday morning, Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn identified the victim is Kyley E. Palmer, 20.

Beni Parsons called her daughter a beautiful, special person, "She was just talented and smart and she could sing like an angel and she could dance. She had so much talent and so much to offer."

Parsons says her daughter had difficulty in the past battling drug addicitons. "We didn't know how, what happened to Kyley, but I know it had every bit to do with the lifestyle that she had chosen."

Parsons told us she hopes someone will come forward with information about how her daughter ended up on the side of the road.

The cause of death is still undetermined at this time. An autopsy took place Friday afternoon at the Medical Examiner's Office in Frankfort.

Palmer leaves behind three young children.

We are told her visitation will take place Monday from 6-9 p.m. at Lakes Funeral Home in Berea and her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m.
