Mother in Leslie Co. 'child pot picture' case to appear in court

HYDEN, Ky. (WYMT/WKYT) - A Leslie County mother is expected to go in front of a judge later this week.

She is accused of taking pictures of her children posing with marijuana.

Tracy Hensley is charged with endangering the welfare of a minor.

The pictures show the children holding what appears to be marijuana joints in their mouths, pretending to smoke them.

The sheriff's department tracked the photos back to Hensley after they were tipped off by a business that was developing the pictures.

Social services removed five children from Hensley's home.

Police also arrested the children's grandmother on drug charges.

Both bonded out of jail.
