Posted: Thu 9:32 AM, Jul 12, 2012

A 19 year old is in jail, charged with driving at deputies during a high-speed chase.

Boyle County Sheriff's deputies say they tried to pull over Aaron Oiler, 19, who was driving in a careless manner near the Hampton Inn on the U.S. 150 Bypass.

Investigators say Oiler fled.

Oiler was eventually arrested in Stanford and booked into the Boyle County Detention Center around 3:40 a.m. Thursday.

He faces charges of careless driving, fleeing and evading, wanton endangerment, speeding at 120 miles per hour in a 55 m.p.h. zone and other charges.

Oiler declined an interview with WKYT Thursday morning.
