Crash sends one motorcyclist to UK, one to jail

One person is in the hospital, another in jail, after a motorcycle crashed on the interstate.

It happened early Wednesday morning on I-75 in Lexington between the Newtown Pike and Georgetown Street exits.

Lexington Police say the driver was taken to UK Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Once released, police say he will be cited for DUI.

Police say a second motorcyclist, William Marcum, Jr., 34, pulled over to help. When police arrived, they arrested Marcum for DUI.
