A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is out for for much of northern and eastern Kentucky until 9 p.m. This is just east of the Lexington metro.
We continue to watch a warming trend through the next couple of days before seeing a cold front swing our way. Highs today will be slightly warmer than yesterday as we land in the mid 60s under a mixture of sun & clouds. Not expecting rain today, but clouds will be numerous.
The warmer weather picks up on Wednesday as we inch close to 70°! Most of us will be in the upper 60s, but with enough sunshine a few of us could peak at the 70°. Rain will move into the western zones by the time sunset takes place. That means most of the day will be dry. The rain begins during the evening and lasts through Thursday morning. Cold air filters in Thursday afternoon with temperatures dropping during the day to the upper 40s.
The rain pushes out for the last part of the work week and into the weekend. There is a slight chance of rain at 20% on Saturday, but definitely no heavy rain out of any of these showers.
Have a great Tuesday!
