Much cooler conditions heading into the holiday weekend

Much cooler conditions in the area today. Heading into the afternoon we can expect mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid 60s! That is well below average and we should hold on to that trend on Saturday as highs settle in upper 60s to lower 70s. Saturday will be nice, but we can't rule out a sprinkle or two during the evening. Only a slight chance of rain on Sunday and Memorial Day as most of us look to stay dry. Highs this weekend will be in the 70s.

Next week we start with that slight chance of rain before the warm front moves north of us. That will leave us in the warm sector allowing our temperatures to rise rapidly during the week. Highs coming in during midweek will be in the mid to upper 80s! We also look to stay dry during that time.
