A storm complex will affect our region again today. Expect scattered storms to pick up during the afternoon hours. Damaging winds, flooding and lightning are the main concerns as these storms roll through.
We have been looking forward to this week for a long time now and it's here. Some really nice temperatures are expected, which starts with today. Highs this afternoon will range from 40s in the central and northern zones and 50s in the south. Unfortunately when we gets temperatures like these during the winter you can expect some rain to come along with it. Showers move in later this afternoon and through the evening hours. This rain tapers off overnight and leaves us with some nice weather the next couple days.
Highs on Tuesday and Wednesday will reach the 40s and 50s under partly cloudy skies. This is where we turn our attention to Thursday night into Friday morning. Showers and thunderstorms will roll through the area during that time period. Strong storms are expected and possible severe storms. That'll be something to watch in the upcoming days.. On the brighter side we are looking at 60s during that time and I still believe we will squeeze out a couple 70° readings in the south on Thursday.
