Our focus now turns to the potential of record lows tonight. Many areas may wake up to thermometer readings below zero.
We will be on a warming trend for the next several days, which starts today! Winds out of the south will pump in some much better temperatures to deal with this afternoon as we settle in the low to mid 70s.
Rain moves in overnight and into tomorrow morning with a few rumbles of thunder along the way. This will mainly be for the first half of the day on Friday. Heading into the afternoon the rain clears and temperatures settle in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
The weekend looks fantastic! Highs will be much warmer and the weather will be calm. We will be mostly sunny with mid to upper 70s on Saturday. Even warmer on Sunday with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s under a mix of sun & clouds.
Heading into Monday and Tuesday we need to be watching for some strong storms. No severe weather expected at the moment, but that could change depending on the strength of this system as it arrives.
