Snow line is beginning to crash into parts of central Kentucky. The rate of snow will pick-up this evening and into the overnight. Some of these snow bands could produce 1"-2" per hour at times.
MT. VERNON, Ky. (WKYT) - Two people had to be airlifted after a violent crash.
It happened around 10:00 Wednesday night on U.S. 150 in Rockcastle County, between Mt. Vernon and Brodhead.
The sheriff's office says a driver pulled into the path of an oncoming car. That driver had to be cut from the car and was airlifted to UK Hospital.
Officials say five people were in the other car. One person in that vehicle was also airlifted to UK. Two people were taken to a local hospital.
Police said none of the injuries were life-threatening. Officials have not said if anyone will face charges.
