LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington Police have charged a man they say caused the car he was riding in to crash.
The car flipped and hit a guardrail around 4 p.m. Friday on New Circle Road, between Tates Creek Road and Alumni Drive.
Police say Kevin Trahan got into an argument with the driver, then grabbed the steering wheel and turned it.
Police say the driver and two children in the car had non-life threatening injuries.
All four people in the car went to the hospital, but police say Trahan had the most serious injuries.
Police charged Trahan with three counts of assault.
