Moving fast, and relying on the element of surprise is what Kentucky State Police strive for during these multiple arrest drug busts.

"Some people, we catch them by surprise, get those under arrest and in place quickly," said Trooper Don Trosper with Kentucky State Police.

Twenty alleged drug traffickers were arrested, eight of them coming from the Corbin Manor apartment complex.

"Unfortunately, when we do one of these details like this, it usually includes this apartment complex," said Trosper.

"Until they decide they're going to do it on their own, for themselves and their families, we have to keep dealing with them. It's an addiction. A lot of them have a hard time breaking that addiction. And so that leads us back to them again and again," Trosper added.

And it's that continued effort that Trooper Trosper says will make a difference.
And they won't stop until the problem is out of their county for good.

David Hamilton, 43, of East Bernstadt, KY charged with two counts of Trafficking a Controlled Substance 2ND Degree and one count of Persistent Felony Offender II in Laurel County.

Janice McWhorter, 60, of East Bernstadt, KY charged with three counts of Trafficking a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree in Laurel County.

Tiffany Wicker, 23, of Corbin, charged with one count of Trafficking a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree and two counts of Possession of Napthylprovalerone in Laurel County.

Geraldine Lynch, 57, of Corbin, charged with four counts of Trafficking a Controlled Substance 1ST Degree and four counts of Trafficking a Controlled Substance 2ND Degree in Laurel County.

Clifton Tuttle, 30, of Corbin, charged with four counts of Trafficking a Controlled Substance 2ND Degree in Laurel County.

William Robert “Bobby” Mayes Jr., 22, of Corbin, charged with two counts of Trafficking a Controlled Substance 1ST Degree in Laurel County.

Jennifer Mills, 26, of Corbin, charged with three counts of Trafficking a Controlled Substance 2ND Degree in Laurel County.
