MURRAY, Ky. (AP) - A grand jury in western Kentucky will decide whether to formally charge a West Tennessee man in the death of a woman who was run over.

According to the Murray Ledger & Times (http://bit.ly/Ve9qZh ), charges of murder, DUI and leaving the scene of an accident against James Paul Cook of McLemoresville, Tenn., were bound over to the grand jury on Wednesday.

The 55-year-old Cook has been in jail since his Sept. 4 arrest in the death of 37-year-old Desiree Moore of Puryear, Tenn.

The court refused defense attorney Cheri Riedel's motion for a property bond for Cook, calling him a danger to the public.

Investigators said Moore was run over by a van that matched the description of one Cook was later found driving.
