Very slow moving showers and thunderstorms will move into our area overnight and Sunday. The potential for flooding will be heightened in southern and eastern Kentucky.
A lockdown has been lifted at Murray State University, after reports of an armed man on campus.
Officials say there are no reports of shots fired and no one is injured.
The Murray State Police Department says they are investigating a report of a man with a long gun in the area of Franklin college. At last report, witness saw the individual get into a silver vehicle and drive away from campus. The suspect was wearing light color shorts and a black tank top, and is described as a white male 5'6 to 6 foot.
MSU community members are reminded to be aware of their surroundings at all times and to take necessary safety precautions.
