The flash flood threat increases late tonight and into Thursday. Rounds of storms may dump a lot of rain across our region.
The heat is almost out of here, but we have to get the front to move through first. That will come later on during the day with scattered storms along the front. It looks as the storms will move through the northern zones during the late morning into early afternoon...central zones during early afternoon before moving southbound through the rest of the day. Lightning and heavy downpours will be the issues. Highs today will be in the mid 80s.
Once the front moves through tonight we are seeing some great numbers come in on the weather models. Highs for both Friday and Saturday will be around the 70° mark! That will make for awesome football weather on Friday night and Saturday! Tailgating may even be cool enough to wear a light coat on Saturday before the game.
