Record lows possible tonight

A much cooler than normal pattern is settling into the bluegrass state and could lead to record low temps in the coming days. This air will hang tough into the start of the weekend. That’s when it may be joined by another decent shot of rain.

Tonight’s temps will drop like a rock with dry air and mainly clear skies. Lows will drop into the upper 40s and low 50s and that could put record lows in jeopardy.

Highs Wednesday will hit the middle 70s with a mix of sun and clouds. I can't rule out an isolated shower.

Thursday is another much cooler than normal day as late day clouds increase. Those clouds will bring the threat for showers and storms our way from late Friday into the weekend. Temps will continue to run below normal.
