FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - A new guide is available for people who want to plan a trip to Kentucky or for residents who just want to visit someplace different.

The 2013 Kentucky Official Visitor's Guide is available free at seven welcome centers on interstate highways. To have a copy mailed to you, call (800) 225-8747. An interactive online version will also be available soon, and a printed version will also be available for order there.

Travel and Tourism Commissioner Mike Maneot says the guide will help people find the state's unique spots.

It was produced by the Travel and Tourism Department in partnership with publishing company Miles Media Group.
