New information on tornadoes that hit Kentucky

The National Weather Service has had people out surveying damage across Kentucky since storms hit Friday night.

So far they've ruled on the strength of at least four tornadoes that touched down in the area, but we're told several more are suspected.

The National Weather Service says it was an EF-3 that hit in Menifee and Morgan Counties. The storm claimed at least five lives in Morgan County. The greatest damage was in West Liberty. The National Weather Service says the tornado was still at an EF-3 speed when it hit the town.

They've also confirmed an EF-3 tornado hit in Salyersville in Magoffin County. Surveyors say it appears the tornado that hit the East Bernstadt area of Laurel County was an EF-2.

The National Weather Service still has many more crews out surveying damage and will be providing more information on the strength of other twisters that hit in the area over the next few days.
