A judge has set a trial date for two men facing federal hate crime charges.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says Anthony Jenkins, 20, and Jason Jenkins, 37, will stand trial in October.

The trial had been scheduled for earlier this month, but was delayed.

Investigators say the men kidnapped a man in Harlan County and beat him because he is gay.
