Newtown Pike lane closures expected to cause delays

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A traffic alert for drivers. Starting Friday, March 8, commuters can expect a slowdown along part of Newtown Pike.

Lexington city leaders say one lane in each direction will be closed between Loudon Avenue and Fourth Street. The 24-hour closure is scheduled to last one week, because of construction at the new campus for Bluegrass Community and Technical College.

Inbound and outbound drivers should expect delays.
