No injuries in Jackson County school bus crash

JACKSON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A frightening ride from home from school for dozens of Jackson County students on Monday afternoon.

The county's school superintendent tells us the driver got distracted when a student stood up in the bus.

The distraction caused the driver to lose control. We're told the bus ran off Highway 421 and turned on its side.

The superintendent says around 40 sixth graders were on the bus at the time. No one was injured.

They were all released to their parents.
