No trauma found during autopsy of Lexington man found dead in motel

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -- We have new information about a man found dead in a Lexington motel room.

The coroner's office says a preliminary autopsy on Gerald Lee Lakes, 24, did not find any signs of trauma.

But the cause of death is still under investigation. The coroner says more tests have to be done.

Investigators found Lakes dead Wednesday in a room of the Knights Inn off Newtown Pike.

Police say they also found two developmentally challenged adults, who were malnourished, in the same room.

They're investigating if any abuse or neglect took place.
