Noel In Good Spirits

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - UK coach John Calipari said this morning on the Dan Patrick Radio Show, Nerlens Noel will have surgery during the school's spring break.

Later in the day on the SEC coaches weekly teleconference, Calipari was asked to update the situation. “His family has that information. I don’t have it all. But it’s gonna be done here soon, and all the other stuff will take time to play out.”

UK is on spring break this week. Noel tore his ACL in Kentucky's game at Florida February 12.

Sunday on "This Is Kentucky Basketball," Noel said in an interview with assistant coach John Robic, his spirits are good and he appreciates the many letters and cards from fans. You will see portions of that interview Monday night on WKYT.
