Northern Ky. man arrested for abuse of 15-year-old

BOONE CO. (WKYT) - Police in Boone County have arrested a Burlington man on multiple counts of sexual molestation of a 15-year-old girl.

Boone County detectives arrested 32-year-old Richard (Ricky) Fornash Jr. after serving a search warrant on his home and car Wednesday morning.

Fornash faces multiple charges, including five counts of rape, six counts of sodomy, six counts of sexual abuse, unlawful transaction with a minor, and distribution of obscene matter to a minor.

Police believe the abuse lasted from July of 2012 until December 2012. Fornash is accused of showing the 15-year-old girl pornographic videos and images. Police say he also gave her alcoholic drinks.

Investigators say additional charges are likely.
