Nunn wants file released to him

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -- A former Kentucky lawmaker who admitted killing his former fiancee went back in front of a judge in Lexington Friday afternoon.

A hearing was held for Steve Nunn after he wrote a letter to the judge asking her to release the file related to his case to him.

Nunn is serving a life sentence for murder, he admitted shooting Amanda Ross outside her Lexington apartment in 2009.

The prosecution agreed to look over the file to determine what materials are eligible to be released.
