Obama to speak at vigil for Newtown shooting victims

WASHINGTON (AP) - It will be a somber journey for President Barack Obama as Newtown, CT, tries to come to grips with the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary.

On Sunday, he's is scheduled to visit privately with families of the victims and with emergency personnel who responded to the shootings. He then will then speak at an interfaith vigil at Newtown High School, for the 26 people killed at the elementary school, including 20 children only six or seven years old.

It's the president's fourth trip to grief stricken towns. The President has previously visited Aurora, CO, Tucson, AZ, and Fort Hood, TX in response to shootings.
