Officers investigate possible mobile meth lab in Richmond

RICHMOND, Ky. (WKYT) - Police had to shut down part of Main Street in downtown Richmond because of a meth lab.

Richmond Police say they pulled over two women in front of St. Mark's Catholic Church because the driver wasn't wearing a seat belt.

Police say they noticed the women appeared to be under the influence and they noticed a bottle in the SUV they believe was filled with meth-related substances.

Police closed Main Street as a precaution while they cleaned up the suspected meth lab.
