TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - The rare fungal meningitis outbreak across several states is now reaching into Ohio.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports one case has been found in Ohio.

Ohio's Health Department confirms there's one case in the state. The outbreak has been linked a steroid produced by a specialty pharmacy in Massachusetts.

Health officials say four Ohio health care facilities used the steroid. Those clinics are in Cincinnati, Marion and the Columbus suburb of Dublin. The steroid has been recalled, and health officials have been scrambling to notify anyone who may have been injected with it.

Federal officials say seven people have died nationwide from the outbreak.
