One more dry day until the tables turn

Posted: Wed 4:23 AM, Dec 19, 2012

One more day of dry weather then the tables turn. Highs today in the lower to mid 50s with partly cloudy skies. Now our attention turns to Thursday and Friday. We start off with showers and thunderstorms on Thursday morning. That should last through most of the day before a transition to snow comes through the evening and overnight hours. The snow showers should last through the morning hours on Friday leaving us with a possibility of a snow covered ground. I will say it is looking more and more likely that this scenario will happen. Friday will be brutal! Highs in the upper 20s to lower 30s with lingering snow showers. Now couple that with winds 20-40 mph...that's COLD. We could see our wind chills dip in the single digits! Get ready because here comes a cold snap!
