A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is out for for much of northern and eastern Kentucky until 9 p.m. This is just east of the Lexington metro.
Highs yesterday were in the mid to upper 80s with sunny skies. Since that was so much fun why don't we just do it all over again today. A warm one in store with highs in the mid to upper 80s and dry. After today we will be in a cooler and more active weather pattern the next several days.
Showers and thunderstorms move in on Friday afternoon/evening out ahead of our next front. The rain chance take us off into the weekend with the better chance of rain on Saturday. Mother's Day shows about a 40% chance of rain with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s.
Heading into next week our skies will not change much. Showers and storms will set up shop through midweek. All in all, from Friday and into next week we are looking at 1"-2" of rain. None of these days show widespread severe weather setup.
