LAWRENCEBURG, Ky. (WKYT) - A fire at a business injured one person on Wednesday night.

The fire broke out around 7:15 p.m. near the intersection of the U.S. 127 Bypass and Kentucky 151.

Firefighters had to fight the fire slowly because of flammable materials inside. Firefighters from Anderson County, Lawrenceburg and Frankfort fought the fire.

The business makes rings for wrestling and kickboxing.

The owners tells us he was inside the building when it caught fire. A cleaning woman was also there.

They were able to get out and call 911.

The person who was injured was transported to a hospital in Frankfort and is expected to be okay.

As of 11 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters had most of the fire out. They were working to cool down hotspots.

There's no word, right now, on what caused the fire.
