WKYT has new information in a violent crash involving a suspected drunk driver.
Lexington police say Eugene Ashcraft, 62, crashed into several parked cars and a pole Tuesday night on Elm Tree Lane.
Police say a man who tried to put Ashcraft's truck into park was run over. He was taken to UK Hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Ashcraft is charged with DUI as well as assault, because police say he beat up a man before being arrested.
