Panel discussion set on Hatfield-McCoy drama

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - A panel discussion on the making of the History Channel drama about the Hatfield and McCoy feud is set this weekend in Charleston.

The West Virginia Historical Society is sponsoring the event at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the state Culture Center.

Milton native Darrell Fetty was one of the producers of the Emmy-award winning mini-series and a companion documentary. The Herald-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/Q6meL6) reports he's scheduled to speak prior to the panel discussion.

Expected to join Fetty on the panel are historians Bill Richardson and Fred Armstrong, who appeared in the documentary "America's Greatest Feud: The History of the Hatfields and McCoys."

The program is free and open to the public.
