Pastor's parsonage broken into during church service

HARLAN COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Someone stole from an eastern Kentucky Pastor while he was at church.

Jeff Mills is the pastor of Baxter Cornerstone Community Church in Harlan County. He says burglars broke into his parsonage while he was leader services at the church building next door.

Mill says the burglars stole money, guns, knives and medication.

Mills says, "Desperation on their part I'm sure, and they knew we were in church, knew where we were, and saw an opportunity to take advantage of us.

Monday morning police found some of the stolen items, but not the money. Despite the crime, Mills says he will forgive the burglars and they will be welcome at his church.
