Colder air is filtering into the region and could allow for patchy frost to develop overnight. Lows by Wednesday morning will be in the low to middle 30s for many areas. Sunny skies will allow for a quick temperature rise into the low 60s by the afternoon.
Thursday's weather looks great with highs well into the 70s as we hang on to the sunshine. A cold front will bring a line of showers and storms our way by Friday morning. That zips to our east pretty quickly as afternoon sunshine takes over.
The weekend will feature a front stalling out across the region. That means the increasing threat for showers and thunderstorms by Sunday. A much greater chance for heavy rain and strong storms will be with us early next week.
