LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A pedestrian is injured after being hit while crossing the street in Lexington.
We're told the female UK student was hit at South Limestone Thursday afternoon, around 1 p.m. while she was walking across the street from the nearby Speedway, in an area without a crosswalk.
The woman, who has not been identified, was taken to UK Hospital with potential life-threatening injuries, according to Lexington Police. We're told she's stable in the emergency room right now.
Limestone was shut down, but is now back open.
