Pedestrian hit and killed in Lexington

For the second night in a row, someone has been hit and killed by two cars while crossing a busy Lexington Road.

This one happened just before 10 p.m. Monday on Nicholasville Road at the Zandale Drive intersection.

Police tell us the man was hit by one car and thrown into the path of another.

As of 11:30 p.m., the inbound lanes of Nicholasville Road were still closed.

Police say the first car did not stop to help.

The victim's name has not yet been released.
