Very slow moving showers and thunderstorms will move into our area overnight and Sunday. The potential for flooding will be heightened in southern and eastern Kentucky.
After a loud day yesterday we will have a much quieter day here for this Thursday with a mixture of sun and clouds and highs around 80°. There is a slight chance of a couple storms for the south and southeastern zones. No worries as we head into Friday. We stay with perfect temperatures with highs around 81° under mostly sunny skies.
Going into the weekend we should stay mainly dry, but we can't rule out an afternoon thunderstorm for Sunday as highs will be much warmer in the mid to upper 80s. Much warmer air heads our way to start off the next week as we could see three consecutive days with highs hitting 90°, so we better enjoy these temperatures the next couple of days while we have them.
