The flash flood threat increases late tonight and into Thursday. Rounds of storms may dump a lot of rain across our region.
This is a big weekend with a lot of outdoor events. The weather couldn't be better for any of those activities. From the Rolex Kentucky 3-Day Event to the Blue/White Game and out in eastern Kentucky Hillbilly Days. If you are looking for something to do... you have three great choices right there.
Expect sunny skies and very warm temperatures. Most areas will see highs soar into the mid and upper 70s. Some folks in southern Kentucky could even see 80 degrees today.
Sunday keeps the trend going for most of the day. There is a slight chance we'll see a shower or storm by late in the day. This is actually the beginning of a very stormy pattern.
We could be entering a very active pattern on Monday. Showers and storms will roll through the area in waves. Some of these storms could produce strong winds, hail, and even isolated tornadoes. This will likely be the case for several states.
