A weakening complex of showers and isolated storms continues to drift slowly eastward this morning. The farther east of I-75, the later the showers arrive. The cluster of showers is expected to diminish in size and intensity this morning with just a few scattered showers/storms by midday. As the afternoon progresses, scattered showers and storms could re-fire again with the heat of the day. Waves of unsettled weather will continue with an isolated storm or two this evening through tomorrow morning. Scattered showers and storms are expected to pop-up again Saturday with diurnal heating and an upper level wave arriving. More widespread precipitation arrives Sunday as a cold front moves across Kentucky. The shower threat will come to an end northwest to southeast on Monday. Highs are expected to remain in the mid to upper 80s each day with drier weather arriving Tuesday.
Have a great weekend.
