PERRY COUNTY (WKYT) - It was a frightening morning for one southern Kentucky resident, after police say he was shot several times while inside his home.

It happened just before 2:00am off Dusty Road in the Viper community of Perry county Wednesday. Police say 38-year-old Johnny R. Clark was shot several times, when an unknown suspect fired into his home.

Clark was transported to the U.K. Medical Center with what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

So far no arrests have been made. Kentucky State Police are investigating the shooting.
