Plea deal reached in Bell County murder case

BELL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - One of four people accused of killing a 91-year-old eastern Kentucky man has now admitted his role in the crime.

Jeremiah Evans had been charged with murder, but as part of a plea deal, he pleaded guilty to facilitation.

Evans says he did not kill William Taylor in 2008, but he says he drove the other three suspects to Taylor's Bell County home the night of the murder.

Evans could receive ten years in prison when he's sentenced in January.

The other suspects, Candy Maiden, Deborah Partin, and Brian Hatfield, will stand trial in January.
