Our focus now turns to the potential of record lows tonight. Many areas may wake up to thermometer readings below zero.
Clouds have been on the increase during the morning hours and that should be the trend through the afternoon. We look to stay dry as our highs settle in the lower to mid 60s. Heading into the weekend a system works in from the south, which will give us plenty of moisture to work with once it passes through. Our rain chances are likely on Saturday and Sunday. Sunday will have to the best chance at seeing thunderstorms, but severe weather is unlikely at this moment.
Next week we will see a nice warmup out ahead of our next system. Highs will mainly be in the 70s from Monday-Wednesday, but a few backyard thermometers could hit 80°. Come Thursday and into Friday we will see a slow moving system that will give us a chance at showers and thunderstorms. Have a great Friday and into the weekend!!
