LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Police say they had little trouble tracking down 23-year-old Andre Wells of Louisville when a store employee accused him of taking $540 worth of sunglasses.

The Courier-Journal reported that Wells left his real name on a job application just moments earlier.

A Jefferson County arrest warrant says Wells walked into Dr. Bizer's Vision World - where he was a former patient - on March 5 and asked for a job application.

The warrant says Wells filled out the application and then asked for a vision exam, but when the clerk turned away Wells walked out with three pairs of sunglasses.

Officials say four witnesses at the store identified Wells by picking his photo out of a lineup.

He was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.
