Police: Man is large supplier of illegal drugs

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - Police say an undercover operation led to at least two drug arrests.

Barbourville Police carried out a search warrant at a home in the Artemus community. They went to the home after several different police agencies got complaints about drug activity at the home.

Police arrested Jack Davis, along with Michelle Stapleton. Officers say they also seized a large quantity of Oxycodone, marijuana, Xanax, an undisclosed amount of cash and a Ford truck from Davis's property.

Police say an undercover investigation led them to believe that Davis is a large supplier of illegal drugs in Knox County.

Davis and Stapleton are now charged with drug trafficking. Police say the investigation is continuing and likely to result in further charges.
