Police: Man shoots at woman out window of Lexington building

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -A man is in jail accused of firing shots from a window at his ex-girlfriend.

Lexington Police were called to Two Keys Apartments on South Limestone around 8:30 Thursday morning.

Investigators say a couple, living on the third floor, got into a dispute. Police say the woman left the apartment during the argument. According to investigators, the man opened the window and shot at the woman as she was leaving. The woman was not injured.

A security guard saw what happened and called to report the crime.

Police arrested 25-year old Jessie James Boone, Jr.. He's charged with wanton endangerment, tampering with physical evidence and possession of marijuana.
