LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police are looking for a suspect in a violent robbery.

Lexington police say it happened around 11:00 p.m. Tuesday night outside the Metro Auto Body Shop of Georgetown Street, near Nandino Boulevard.

That's where the victim told police a man came up to him and asked for a cigarette, then punched him in the face, knocking him unconscious.

Police say the victim was out for some time before making his way to a nearby gas station to call for help.

The man got away with cash. Police do not have a good description of the thief.
