BEREA, Ky. (WKYT) - Two women are facing charges after police say they used a child to help them shoplift.

Berea Police arrested Eve Gortney, 33, and Alicia Stewart, 33, at the Cracker Barrel.

Police say one of the women used a child as a lookout while she tore off the price tags from items in the store.

They say the other woman took a basket full of items into a restroom.

Police say the women actually brought two children with them. The children were later found inside a car in the parking lot.
