PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) -- Police have found a man they say broke into cars and stole items like money, electronics, and guns.

The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office plans to charge Kyle Phipps, 23, with theft.

Deputies say he admitted to the thefts and helped them find some of the stolen items.

They say over the last few days they received reports of thefts from cars in the Oak Hill, Slate Branch, and Bourbon Road areas.

Police identified Phipps as the suspect after they say video surveillance showed him using a stolen gift card.
