Martin County police chase ends in crash

We continue to track the search for a man police say led them on a chase then ran off after he crashed.

MARTIN COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) -- We continue to track the search for a man police say led them on a chase then ran off after he crashed.

Police in Lawrence County say they tried to pull over Nickolas Marcum in Lawrence County after receiving a report he had some stolen items in his car.

But they say Marcum wouldn't stop.

The chase continued into Martin County where police say Marcum crashed his car into some cars in a parking lot outside a hardware store.

Police say Marcum's girlfriend and a child in the parking lot were injured.
